Crochet Flowers

Happy last day of May!                                                                        What do you think of when someone mentions Springtime? Many people think of sunshine and flowers. Flowers have been a big part of many people's lives. They are a great way to say Thank you, happy birthday, I love you, I am sorry, and are used for almost every celebration and occasion in our lives. Every month has a flower, every state has a flower, and most countries have a national flower. Over time flowers have been used to symbolize non-violence, love, peace, and according to Almanac.com flowers have their own language. The last pattern of the month is an ode to flowers.

Flowers are fun to crochet since they work up quickly and they can be made into a garland or added to a beanie, headband, bag or hair ties.

The great thing about crochet flowers is that they can be used as is or you can dress them up with embellishments such as buttons or beads. 

Lets turn some yarn into flowers and crochet up something beautiful together!
