36 yards (33m) Stylecraft natural organic yarn or Cotton dk yarn
Materials:
Us size G/6 (4 mm), yarn needle, scissors, tape measure, 1 ½” button, needle and thread to sew on button

Finished size before folding 3 ½’ by 8 ½” before folding and 3 ½” by 4 ¼” when complete.
Gauge:
18 sc by 18 rows = 4”
Stitch Guide:
ch(s)- chain(s), sl st – slip stitch, sc- single crochet, hdc – Half double crochet, tr- treble crochet, st(s)- stitch(es)
Special Stitches:
Tiny Bubble stitch- tr, sc, in the stitch indicated
Notes:
Ch 1 does not count as a stitch
Instructions:
Using G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook chain 14
Row 1 (RS): Sc in the 2nd chain from hook and in each ch to the end, turn – 13 sc
Row 2: Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), sc in the first 2 sts, bubble st in the next st, * ch 1, skip the next st, bubble st in the next st; repeat from * to the last 2 sts, sc in the last 2 sts, turn. - 9 sc, 5 bubble stitches + 5 ch-1 spaces
Row 3: Ch 1, hdc in the next 2 sts, * ch 1, skip next bubble st, sc in the next ch-1 space; Repeat from * to the last 2 sts , hdc in the last 2 sts, turn. – 4 hdc + 5 sc, 5 ch-1 spaces
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in the next 2 sts, bubble st in the next ch-1 space, ch 1, bubble st in the next ch-1 space; repeat from * across to the last 2 sts, sc in the last 2 sts, turn. – 5 bubble stitches + 4 sc + 5 ch-1 spaces
Repeat rows 3 and 4, until the cup cozy measures 8” long, making sure to end with row 3 and do not end off.
Finishing:
With right sides together, crochet beginning and end together (working through the sc, ch-1 spaces at the end and beginning chain), using a sl st, stitch together to form a circle (sleeve), weave in ends and sew on button over the crochet seam.
