Have you ever started a project, put it away and found it years later? When looking through my bags of crochet stuff, I came across these cute little flower hexagons I made back in 2015. For the life of me I cannot remember what I was planning on doing with them. They were made with a yarn that has been discontinued (don't you hate that?) and I only had 75 yards left of the main color, so it would be hard to make more to match these ones.
So I have 65 little hexagons, and what to do with them was the big question. I searched the internet for ideas but came up empty handed. I spent one week looking at them in the bag and the next week laying them out to see what I could do with them.
Finally after a few weeks I came up with: The Hexagon Flower Table Runner
These colorful flower hexagon motifs were done using double crochet (dc) and single crochet (sc) stitches. Each motif takes a small quantity of yarn making it a great stash buster project that works up quickly. The great thing about this pattern is that you can make this table runner any size by adding more hexagon motifs or using less.
So grab that stash bag and a crochet hook or those unfinished projects and make this a crochet day!
Have a hooky day! Lynne
