Finished Size: 36” (91 cm) wide by 39” (99.06 cm) long
Gauge: 21 hdc stitches by 10 rows = 4” (10 cm)
Stitch Guide: Ch(s) - chain(s), hdc – half double crochet, rep - repeat, RS - right side, st(s) – stitch(s),
Notes: This pattern is done in multiples of 25 + 1, therefore you should be able to make the blanket wider by adding stitches in multiples of 25. To make the blanket longer just keep adding rows
Instructions:
With color A chain 176
Row 1 (RS): Skip the first ch, *hdc in the
next 11 chs, 3 hdc in the next ch, hdc in the next 11 chs, skip the next 2 chs;
rep from * to the end, ch 1, turn
Rows 2: skip the
first st, * hdc in the next 11 sts, 3 hdc in the next st (this should be the 2nd
hdc in the 3 hdc group in previous row), hdc in the next 11 sts, skip 2 sts; rep from * to the last st, ch 1 turn
Repeat row 2 until the blanket is desired length.
Colors used for the blanket are listed above under yarn and changes for the blanket in the photos are as follows:
Color C = rows 21-36
Color B = rows 37-40
Color D = rows 41-56
Color B = rows 57-60
Color E = rows 61-76
Color B = rows 77-80
Color F = rows 81-96
Finishing:
Fasten off and weave in ends

At the end of row 2, there would be 174 or 175 stitches then?
