Abbreviations and Stitches (U.S. Terms): ch – chain, dc – double crochet, rep – repeat, sc – single crochet, sk – skip, st(s) – stitch(es), tch – turning ch
Notes: Pattern is written in U.S. terms. Ch-1 counts as a stitch.
Instructions:
Ch 30
Row 1: Sk
2 sts, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in the next ch, sk 2 chs; rep from * to the last 2 chs,
sk 1 ch, sc in the last ch, ch 1, turn. (11 sc, 9 dc, 9
ch-1 sps)
Row 2: sk
first sc and dc, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in the next ch-1 sp; rep from * across, ending
with a sc in the top of tch, ch 1 turn. (11 sc, 9 dc, 9 ch-1 sps)
Rep row 2
until the square reaches 9” (22.86 cm)
Fasten off, Weave in ends, and block.
