Yarn Stylecraft Classique Cotton DK yarn (3.5 oz/201 yds/100g per skein) in various colors.

Materials US Size E/5 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors.

Stitch Guide ch(s) - chain(s), dc - double crochet, st(s) - stitch(es)

Notes

The ch-3 at the beginning of each round counts as a st.

Pattern is written with color changes in every round.

Instructions:

Make a magic ring

Rd 1: ch 3, 2 dc in the ring, ch 1, * 3 dc in the ring, ch 1; repeat from * 4 more times, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (6-3 dc groups, 6- ch-1 sps)

Rd 2: Join yarn to any ch-1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in the same sp, ch 2, * 3 dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 2: Repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (6 -3 dc groups, 6- ch-2 sps)

Rd 3: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in the same sp, ch 1, * 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc, in the next sp, ch 1; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (12-3 dc groups, 12- ch-1 sps)

Rd 4: Join yarn to any ch-1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in the same sp, ch 2, * 3 dc in the next sp, ch 2; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (12-3 dc groups, 12-ch-2 sps)

Rd 5: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in the same sp, ch 2, * 3 dc in the next sp, ch 2; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (12-3 dc groups, 12-ch-2 sps)

Rd 6: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in the same sp, ch 1, * 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc, in the next sp, ch 1; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (24-3 dc groups, 24- ch-1 sps)
