Materials: US Size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, stitch markers, scissors, tape measure, 2 circular wood basket bottoms- size 7 ¾” (19.685 cm) and 5 ¾” (14.6 cm) (these can be purchased on Hobbii or Amazon)

Size: Basket #1- bottom: 7 ¾” (19.685 cm) across, top: 8” (20.32 cm) across, height: 5”(12.7 cm) high
Basket #2-bottom: 5 ¾” (14.6 cm) across, top: 6” (15.24 cm) across, height: 4” (10.16)high
Gauge: 11 WS by 15 rows= 4” (10.16 cm)
Abbreviations and Stitches (U.S. Terms): beg – beginning, ch – chain, rep – repeat, Rnd – round, rsc – reverse single crochet, sc – single crochet, st(s) – stitch(es),WS - waist coat stitch
Special Stitches: Waist coat stitch (WC): single crochet into the "v" of the stitch from the previous round.(check out this tutorial from Yarnth3ory)
Reverse sc (rsc): working from left to right, insert hook from front to back in next st to the right, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook.
Notes: The basket is worked in the round so it is helpful to place a stitch marker in your beginning stitch.
Instructions:

Rnd 1: Sc
in each hole around the wooden basket bottom, do not join. (See photos below) (64 sc).
Rnd 2: Sc
in each st around. (64 sc).
Rnd 3: WS in each st around. (64 WS)
Rnds 4-16:
Rep Rnd 3, (64 WS). After completing Rnd 16, join to beg st.
Rnd 17: Ch
1, rsc in each st around the top, join to beg rsc. (64 rsc), fasten off and weave in ends.
Basket #2- bottom: 5 ¾” (14.6 cm) across, top: 6” (15.24 cm) across, height: 4” (10.16)high
Rnd 1: Sc in each hole around the wooden basket bottom, do not join. (See photos below) (51 sc).
