Adding chains of color: Attach the first color to the first ch of the ch-4 in round 14 (in the back of the beanie),and chain 80.

After completing the chain add a stitch marker in the last chain (for weaving) and cut yarn, leaving a long tail

Use the stitch marker to weave the chain through the open work row, attach to the 1st ch of the ch-4 and fasten off and weave in the ends.

Add the second color using the 2nd ch of the beginning ch-4, weaving opposite of the first chain.

Continue to add chains of color to rounds 17 and 20, making sure to weave the chains opposite of each other. (weave in your ends as you go)

Once all your chains of color are done all the ends are woven in, your beanie should look like the picture at the top of this pattern.
