Row 1: Switch to the size 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook, work 2 dc in the 4th ch from hook, *sk 2 chs, 3 dc in the next ch; Repeat from * across to the last 3 chs, sk 2 chs, 3 dc in the last st. (44- 3 dc groups)
Row 2: Ch 3, *3 dc in the next sp; Repeat from * across to the last sp, 3 dc in the last sp, skip 2 dc, dc in the beg ch-3. (43- 3 dc groups, 2 dc)
Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in the first sp, * 3 dc in the next sp; Repeat from * across to the last ch sp, 3 dc in the last ch sp. (44- 3 dc groups)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you reach the desired length.
Border:(worked around the blanket)
Round 1: Join yarn to any ch-3 corner, *3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in the corner sp, 3 dc in the next sp between the 3 dc groups to the next corner sp; Repeat from * around the blanket, join to beg dc.
Round 2: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, *3 sc in the same sp, sc in each st to the next corner: Repeat from * around, join to beg sc. fasten off.

I want to make the blanket wider how many stitches do i do
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is done in multiples of 3 with 1 added at the end of the chain. So, for this pattern I chained 132 + 1= 133, you will need to keep adding 3 chains to get the width you desire.
Delete
