Materials: US Size F-5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook,
yarn needle, scissors, tape measure.
Difficulty: Easy
Size: 4 1/4 inches (10.7 cm)
Gauge: 22 sc and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm)
Stitch Guide: ch(s) - chain(s), sc - single crochet, hdc - half double crochet, dc - double crochet, st(s) - stitch(es),
Notes: Ch-2 and Ch-3 counts as a stitch.
Instructions:
With A, make a magic circle.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 19 hdc in the circle, join to beg ch-3, fasten off, (20 hdc)
Rnd 2: Join yarn to any hdc, ch 3, skip next st, sc in next st, ch 2, *skip next st, sc in the next st, ch 2; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (10 sc, 10 ch-2 sps)
Rnd 3: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, ch 3, 3 dc in the same sp, *4 dc in the next ch-2 sp; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-2, fasten off. (40 dc)
Round 4: Join yarn to any dc, ch 3, sk next st, sc in the next st, ch 2, *sk next st, sc in the next st, ch 2; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (20 sc, 20 ch-2 sps)
Round 5: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, ch 2, 2 hdc in the same sp, *3 hdc in the next sp; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-2, fasten off. (60 hdc)
