Yarn: Each potholder was made with 1 skein 100% cotton Chunky Thread (size 2) 50g/140 yds/ 128 m. If you are using size 2 yarn, you will crochet potholder with 2 strands held together. or any size 4 cotton worsted weight yarn can be used. (Such as Lion Brand 24/7 cotton). If you are using size 4 yarn, you will crochet potholder with 1 strand of yarn.
Materials: US Size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook, Yarn Needle, scissors, tape measure

Size: 7-1/2”
(19.05 cm) by 7-1/2” (19.05 cm)

and Stitches (U.S. Terms): ch – chain, dc – double crochet, hdc – half double
crochet, rep – repeat, sc – single crochet, sk – skip, st(s) – stitch(es), tch
– turning ch
Notes:
Pattern is written in U.S. terms. Ch-2
counts as a hdc stitch.
Instructions:
Ch 39
Row 1: Sk
2 sts, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in the next ch, sk 2 chs; rep from * to the last 2 chs,
sk 1 ch, hdc in the last ch, ch 2, turn. (12 sc, 12 dc,
2 hdc, 12 ch-1 sps)
Row 2: sk
first sc and dc, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in the next ch-1 sp; rep from * across, ending
with a hdc in the top of tch, ch 2 turn. (12 sc, 12 dc, 2 hdc, 12 ch-1 sps)
Rows 3-
23: Rep row 2
After completing row 23, do not fasten off, ch 16 for hanger and join. Fasten off and weave in ends. For best results block potholder.
