Yarn: Lighter Wreath: Madlandia Hue Mongous cotton dk (size 3) yarn, colors: Larry salad and Red Shirt. Darker wreath: Purl Soho Cotton Chirp dk (size 3) yarn, colors: Lawn green, wild Boysenberry
Materials: US Size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, tape measure, 1 ½” (3.81 cm) metal or plastic ringDifficulty:

Gauge: 15
sts x 18 rows = 4 inches (10.16 cm)
Abbreviations
and Stitches (U.S. Terms): beg – beginning, ch – chain, rep – repeat, sc –
single crochet, sl st – slip stitch, st(s) – stitch(es)
Notes: Ch
1 does not count as a stitch
To make a
larger wreath ornament, use a larger ring, but be sure to increase the number of
sc worked around the ring in rnd 1, and that you have an even number of sc
around the ring.
Instructions:
Base:
Rnd
1: Attach yarn with a sl st, ch 1, sc around the ring until it is covered about
34 sc, join to beg sc. (34 sc)
Rnd 2: Ch
4, sc in next st, ch 6, *sc in next st, ch 4 sc in next st, ch 6; rep from *
around, join to beg ch-4, ch 15 (for hanger), join to beg ch-4, fasten off,
weave in ends. (17 ch-6 sps, 17 ch-4 sps)
Bow: Ch
35, fasten off, weave in ends if desired, tie into a bow, sew or glue to the
wreath.
Berries
(make 4): Ch 2, sl st in the 2nd ch from hook, fasten off, weave in
or trim ends and sew or glue to wreath.
Optional: Add beads for berries or decorate with buttons and bows.
