Instructions:
Make a
magic circle
Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc, ch 1, *2 dc, ch 1;
repeat from * 4 more times, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (12 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 2: Join a new yarn to any ch-1 sp,
ch 3, 2 dc, in the same sp as join, ch 1, *3 dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1;
repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (18 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 3: Join a new yarn to any ch-1 sp,
ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc in same sp as join, ch 1, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in the next
sp, ch 1; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (24 dc, 12 ch-1
sps).
Rnd 4: Join a new yarn to any ch-1 sp, ch
3, 2 dc, in the same sp as join, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 1) in each ch-1 sp around, join
to beg ch-3, fasten off. (36 dc, 12 ch-1 sps)
Note: You can make the circle larger by
repeating rounds 3 and 4, adjusting the number of chains to keep the circle
flat.
Edging:
Rnd 5: Join yarn to any ch- 1 sp, sc in
the same sp as join and in each st and ch-1 sp around, join to beg sc, fasten
off. (48 sc)
Weave in
ends and for best results block.
