Yarn: 600-700g of any size 4 worsted weight yarn (I had a bunch of leftover worsted weight yarn so I mixed them together!)Materials: US Size J/10 (6 mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors
Difficulty: Beginner
Size: Finished size – 36” (91.44 cm) x 36” (91.44 cm)
Gauge: 13 sts and 11 rows = 4” (cm)
Stitch Guide: ch(s) - chain(s), dc - double crochet, hdc - half double crochet, sc – single crochet, st(s) - stitch(s), sl st - slip stitch,
Special Stitches: Reverse sc (rsc): working from left to right, insert hook from front to back in next st to the right, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook.
Notes: Ch-1 does not count as a stitch
Instructions:
Chain 110
Row 1 (RS): Hdc in the 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn. (108 hdc)
Row 2: *1 dc in the first st, sl st in the next st; repeat from * ending with sl st in the top of beginning ch-2, ch 1, turn. (54 sl sts, 54 dc)
Row 3: *hdc in the next dc, hdc in the next sl st; repeat from * across, ending with a hdc in the turning ch-1, ch 1, turn. (108 dc)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until the blanket measures 36” (91.44 cm) or desired length. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Edging: is done around the blanket
Rnd 1: Join yarn to any corner, ch 1, rsc in the next stitch and in each st around the blanket, join to beg rsc, fasten off. Weave in ends and for best results block
