Special Stitches: dc2tog in ch space: yarn over, insert yarn into ch space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, insert hook into same space, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through 3 loops.
Notes: Pattern is written in U.S. Terms Ch-3 counts as a stitch
Instructions:
Make a magic circle
Rnd 1: Ch 3, 11 dc in the circle, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: Join yarn to the sp between any 2 dc sts, ch 3 (counts as a hdc and ch1) *hdc in the next sp between 2 dc sts, ch 1; repeat from * around, join to beg ch-3, fasten off. (12 hdc)
Rnd 3: Join yarn to any ch-1 sp, dc2tog in the same sp, ch 2, *dc2tog in the next sp, ch 2; repeat from * around, join to beg dc2tog, fasten off. (12 dc2tog)
Rnd 4: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, (dc2tog, ch 1, dc2tog) in the same sp, ch 1, *(dc2tog, ch 1, dc2tog) in the next sp, ch 1; repeat from * around, join to beg dc2tog, fasten off. (24 dc2tog, 24 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 5: Join yarn to any ch-1 sp, sc in the same sp, ch 2, *sc in the next sp, ch 2; repeat from * around, join to beg sc, fasten off. (24 sc, 24 ch-2 sps)
