Guide: ch(s) - chain(s), dc - double crochet, st(s) - stitch(es)
Instructions
Make a
Magic Ring
Rnd 1: ch 4
(counts as dc and ch 1), dc in ring, ch 2, * (dc, ch 1, dc) in ring, ch 2;
repeat from * 2 more times, join to beg ch-4, fasten off. (4 ch-2 sps, 4 ch-1
sps, 8 dc)
Rnd 2: Join
yarn to any ch-2 sp, (ch 4, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 1, dc) in the same sp as join, ch
1, dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1, * (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 1, dc) in the
next ch-2 sp, ch 1; repeat from * around, join to the 3rd ch of beg
ch-4, fasten off. (4 ch-2 sps, 16 ch-1 sps, 20 dc)
Rnd 3: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, (ch 4, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 1, dc) in the same sp as join, ch 1, (dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1) 4 times, *(dc, ch 1, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 1, dc) in the next ch-2 sp, ch 1, (dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1) 4 times; repeat from * around, join to the 3rd ch of beg ch-4, fasten off. (4 ch-2 sps, 28 ch-1 sps, 32 dc)
Rnd 4: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, (ch 5, dc) in the same sp as join, ch 1, (dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1) 7 times, *(dc, ch 2, dc) in the next ch-2 sp, ch 1, (dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1) 7 times; repeat from * around, join to the 3rd ch of beg ch-5, fasten off. (4 ch-2 sps, 32 ch-1 sps, 36 dc)
Rnd 5: Join yarn to any ch-2 sp, (ch 5, dc) in the same sp as join, ch 1, (dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1) 8 times, *(dc, ch 2, dc) in the next ch-2 sp, ch 1, (dc in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1) 8 times; repeat from * around, join to the 3rd ch of beg ch-4, fasten off. (4 ch-2 sps, 36 ch-1 sps, 40 dc)
Weave in ends and for best result block.

Hello! what shades of yarn are used in the first from the left granny square?
ReplyDeleteHello, The Granny Square on the left was done in Aspen, Jaffa, Sunshine, and Fiesta. The middle square was done in Jaffa, Sunshine, Fiesta and Turquoise. The square on the right was done in Jaffa, sunshine, Fiesta, and Clematis. I hope this helps!
