Yarn: Purl Soho, Cotton Chirp (size 3) dk yarn, colors used Heirloom White, Deep Verdigris, Golden Honey or any size 3 cotton dk yarn
Difficulty: Easy
Size: 4 inches (10.16 cm)
Gauge: 23 sts per inch
Abbreviations
and Stitches (U.S. Terms):
beg – beginning, ch – chain, dc – double crochet, rep – repeat, sc – single
crochet, sk – skip, sl st – slip stitch, sp(s) – space(es), st(s) – stitch(es)
Notes: Beg ch-3 counts as a stitch
Instructions:
Make a Magic
ring
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc into
ring, join to top of ch-3. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: (sc, ch 3, sc) in the same sp as
join and in each st around, join to beg sc. (12 ch-3 sps)
Rnd 3: Sl st into first ch-3 sp, ch 3,
2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in same space, sk the next ch-3 space, * (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc)
in the next ch-3 sp, sk the next ch-3 sp; rep from * around, join to beg ch-3. (36 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 4: Sl st to ch-1 sp, * ch 4, dc in
ch-3 sp from rnd 2, ch 4, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around, join to beg
ch-4. (12 ch-4 sps, 6 dc, 6 sc)
Rnd 5: Sl st into first ch-4 sp, (sc, ch
3, 3 dc) in same sp and in each ch-4 sp around, join to beg sc, ch 15 (for
hanger), join to beg sc, fasten off.
Weave in ends and for best results block.
