Mandala: Colors of Summer

The summer season has begun! The kids are out of school! This is a time when the sun shines bright and people are spending more time out of doors. For many it is time to go on a family trip or have a stay at home vacation. I remember those fun summers as a kid, out in the sunshine, eating popsicles, Fourth of July, spending time at the beach, and getting together with family!

For the month of June we will be posting summer crochet patterns, starting with a summer Mandala.

Here we go a skein, FOTH:

                               Colors of Summer Mandalas

These mandalas are called the Colors of Summer, since each one of these mandalas tells a story of a summer past:

                                         Fun in the Sun
This bright color mandala with the yellow center reminds me of the sunny summer days, sitting on the curb in front of the house eating bright color popsicles with friends.

                                          Beach Days
This mandala reminds me of the time we spent at the beach as kids. The blues are like the waves at the beach and white reminds me of the white foam on the top of the waves.

                                              Patriotic
The good old red, white, and blue, these colors remind me of the American flag, the Fourth of July, and fireworks!

I love to have these colorful mandalas around the house to remind me of summer fun!

Grab your crochet hook and make some summer memories!

Have a hooky day! Lynne
