Easy Breezy Bandana

Yarn: 50g (1.75oz) of Hobbii Amigo XL yarn or any worsted weight #4 yarn

Materials: US Size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, tape measure

Difficulty: Easy

Size: 18 inches (45.72 cm) wide not including ties and 10 inches (25.4 cm) from center to tip

Gauge: 13 hdc x 12 rows = 4 inches (10.16 cm)

Abbreviations and Stitches (U.S. Terms): ch – chain, hdc – half double crochet, rep – repeat, sc – single crochet, sl st – slip stitch, st(s) – stitch(es), tch – turning ch

Special Stitches: Reverse sc (rsc): working from left to right, insert hook from front to back in next st to the right, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook.

Notes: Ch-2 does not count as a stitch

Instructions:

Make a magic circle

Row 1: Ch 2, 3 hdc in the ring, ch 2, turn. (3 hdc)

Row 2: 2 hdc in the first st, hdc in the next st, 2 hdc in the last st, ch 2, turn. (5 hdc)

Row 3: 2 hdc in the first st, hdc in each st to the last st, 2 hdc in the last st, ch 2, turn. (7 hdc)

Rep row 3 until the triangle reaches 18 inches (45.72 cm) wide and 10 inches (25.4 cm) from center to tip, do not fasten off continue to edging

Bandana Edging: working around the outside of the bandana rsc in each stitch around the top, and on each side, join to beg rsc, do not fasten off continue to ties


Bandana Ties: Ch 50-55

sl st in the 2nd ch from hook 

and in each ch to the end

join to corner of bandana, fasten off, join yarn to the other corner and repeat, fasten off, weave in ends.
