Stacked Striped Granny

Our March Granny Square Series continues with the Stacked Striped Granny Square, the third design in this month’s collection. After the blooming petals of the Hexa Bloom Granny and the bold personality of the Skully Granny, this square brings a clean and modern look to the mix.

                                    Stacked Striped Granny

The Stacked Striped Granny features rows of color that build on top of each other to create a simple but striking striped design. The stacked effect gives the square a bold graphic feel while still keeping the classic structure of a traditional granny square.

This square is perfect for playing with color. You can use high-contrast shades for a bold statement or softer tones for a more subtle look. It also works great for using up small amounts of yarn since each round can be worked in a different color.

Given that, the design is simple and rhythmic, the Stacked Striped Granny is a relaxing square to crochet. It’s an easy pattern to fall into while still creating a block that looks modern and eye-catching!

Be sure to check back next week for the last pattern in the March Granny Square Series.

Have a hooky day! Lynne
