Mid-September marks the end of summer and the beginning of Fall! It feels like just yesterday I was thinking about summer and spending time by the ocean. I love going to the beach to relax on the warm sand and listen to the soothing sounds of the waves! Yes, you can go to the beach any time of the year but there is just something special about the beach in the summer!
September at D60 Crochet is scarf month and this weeks scarf is one that invokes memories of summer days at the beach and allows you to keep a piece of summer with you all year around! If you love the color blue or the colors of the ocean this one is for you!
Here we go a skein fresh off the hook:
The Ocean Drift Scarf is a lengthwise scarf that looks complicated to crochet, but is done with basic crochet stitches. This one-row repeat double crochet (dc) pattern creates a beautiful wave design and is great for crocheters of all skill levels.
If you like this pattern, check out the Ocean Waves Blanket another reminder of summers at the beach!
Grab your crochet hook, pick your favorite ocean inspired yarn and crochet an Ocean Drift Scarf that flows like the sea.
Have a hooky day! Lynne
