So for the second week of granny square month, to show a little love to granny squares, I created these Mini Granny Hearts! This heart is fashioned after my first heart pattern, Granny Hearts. We can call them granny hearts since they are made with a mini granny square!
Here we go a skein, fresh off the hook:
The Granny Heart is easy to make, works up quickly, and is fun to do! It starts with the classic granny square for the first two rounds and then we work the heart magic turning the square into a heart!
Like the larger Granny Hearts, they have many uses! Crochet hearts can be used as as appliques to brighten up a jacket, skirt, or backpack. You can use them to make a garland/bunting, or an ornament, the choice is yours!
Lets show a little love for granny squares this week!
