Granny Square Day

The month of August has arrived! Even though this is one of our hottest months, I love August because we get to celebrate Granny Squares! Granny Square Day is celebrated on August 15th, that gives us two weeks to get ready! If you are wondering what Granny Square day is, check out the info and link below.

Simply Crochet is hosting Granny Square Day, a huge Instagram event where the crochet community from around the world comes together to make crochet granny squares and share them to make the biggest virtual crochet blanket in the world. This quick and easy granny square is done with basic crochet stitches and a few treble stitches.
