Ocean Waves Blanket

Happy Friday! this week has been one filled with crazy winter weather all across the U.S. On days like these, you just want to stay in, crochet, and not deal with the crazy weather! This month is blanket month, since it is the time of year we might have a little more time to crochet due to the weather and making a blanket can help keep you warm. The pattern this week is for a baby blanket or lapghan.

Here we go a skein, fresh off the hook:

                                The Ocean Waves Blanket

This blanket is great for crocheters of all levels as it is done in a repeating pattern using only a double crochet stitch. It takes a little longer to complete than the Double V Baby Blanket, since it is done with dk yarn and a smaller hook.

Every time I look at this blanket it reminds me of the beach, with the sand and the blues of the ocean! Grab your hook and yarn, and think of spending time on the beach!

Have a hooky day! Lynne
