One Granny Square Blanket

We are at the end of January, wow, how time files! It seems the older you get the faster time goes by! Everyone told me that when I retired I would have a lot of time, well the opposite is true, I feel like I do not have enough time, so many things to crochet!

Our last pattern for January is not the traditional rectangular blanket, this blanket is a square, really it is one giant granny square, this pattern is a traditional granny square with an added row in between each regular row to give it a different look.

Here we go a skein fresh off the hook:

The One Granny Square pattern, like most of the patterns at D60, is great for crocheters of all skill levels. The pattern uses single crochet and double crochet stitches.

Using the black in between each row helps the colors to stand out and creates a cool X pattern.

Grab your hook and yarn and lets crochet a square blanket!

Looking forward to February since, I love Mandalas and I get to share my patterns with you!

Have a hooky day! Lynne
