I had so much fun making the Skully Granny Tote that I just had to keep the creativity going, so I decided to make a matching Skully Granny Drawstring Pouch! This little pouch is the perfect companion to the tote. It’s great for holding your smaller essentials like hooks, notions, makeup, or used as a fun gift bag. Plus, it gives you another excuse to make more of those bold and playful Skully Granny Squares!
Here we go a skein Fresh off the hook:
Skully Granny Drawstring Pouch
The Skully Granny Square already makes such a statement on its own, and turning it into a pouch really lets it shine. This project is quick, practical, and a great way to use up leftover yarn from your tote or other projects. It’s an easy, beginner-friendly project if you are already comfortable with granny squares and a fun next step if you’ve already made the tote.
You can customize it in so many ways, go classic with black and white for a striking skull look, or switch things up with bright or pastel colors for a fun twist. However you style it, it’s sure to stand out!
Have a hooky day! Lynne
