The Linked Series is back, and this one might be my favorite yet! After the beanie and the cowl, it felt only right to bring that same smooth, polished texture into something soft and giftable, a one of a kind handmade baby blanket.
If you’ve already tried the linked double crochet in the Cozy Linked Beanie or the Soft Linked Cowl, you know how beautifully this stitch works up. It creates a fabric that’s smooth, slightly denser than traditional double crochet, and has that modern, clean finish that makes it great for baby blankets.

This blanket was made using Premier Puzzle Yarn, a soft self-striping yarn that does all the color work for you. No changing colors, no extra ends to weave in, and no planning stripe placement. The gentle color transitions create modern stripes that show off the linked double crochet texture beautifully. It’s one of those yarns that makes you look like you did something complicated when really, you just kept stitching.
