It is mid-December, the time of year when many crocheters look for winter crochet patterns that make great gifts! This week we continue with handmade gifts that are easy to make and can be completed in a day! The pattern for this week is a scarf, I know there are many scarf patterns out there, but the Winter Flower Scarf is unique. It is unlike other scarves because it is a basic scarf that is embellished with a beautiful crochet flower motif that can be removed. This is my go to pattern for the flower lovers on my gift list!
This pattern uses a variety of basic crochet stitches such as single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), and even a few treble crochet stitches (tr) making this pattern great for crocheters of all skill levels!
The flower on the scarf is removable which allows for wearing the scarf different ways (see photos above). Just imagine if the scarf and flower were made in different colors, it could go from a winter flower scarf to a beautiful springtime flower scarf!
