Bar Stitch Beanie

Hello November! A time of cool evenings, fall colors, hot chocolate, cozy blankets and more time spent with family. It is a time where winter outfits and accessories begin to dominate our wardrobes! As crocheters it is the time of year we think of blankets, shawls, wraps, scarves, and beanies. So this month we will be posting beanie patterns. Like scarves, beanies are a quick and easy items to crochet and they make great gifts! Who doesn't love a beanie?

The first fresh off the hook item for November is:

                The Bar Stitch Beanie

This pattern is a revised version of the one used for the bar stitch scarf and like the scarf pattern it may look complicated but it is made with a simple stitch pattern, using half double crochets and double crochets.
