Neon Granny Square for Granny Square Day!

The first free pattern post was for Granny Square Day 2023 and coming up on August 15th we will celebrate Granny Square Day 2024! I know that many of you are wondering what is Granny Square Day, so let me explain:

Simply Crochet is hosting Granny Square Day, a huge Instagram event where the crochet community from around the world come together to make crochet granny squares and share them to make the biggest virtual crochet blanket in the world. The Neon Granny Square is a pattern for crocheters of all skill levels. It is made with chain and double crochet stitches and is quick to make up.

I just love the bright Neon yarn colors, they really pop! These would make a fun blanket, a cool vest or look great as an embellishment on a pair of shorts or jeans!
