Granny Square Day

Coming up on August 15th is Granny Square Day! Wow only one week from now! Simply Crochet is hosting Granny Square Day, a huge Instagram event where the crochet community from around the world come together to make crochet granny squares and share them to make the biggest virtual crochet blanket in the world.

For Granny Square Day I will be choosing one of the Cross Granny Squares I made this last weekend. It will be hard to choose which one to use on Granny Square Day! I am leaning towards the turquoise square, but you will have to check it out on August 15th!

I just love ocean colors; they are so calming.

Just for fun I did the made the same granny square in three different colors, it is amazing that just changing the colors gives the granny square a whole different look.

I will be posting a revised granny square pattern in a few days, so you can use it for Granny Square Day!
