Double Square Scarf

October is my favorite time of the year! It is a time of transition when the weather changes from long hot summer days, to a time when the days are cooler and shorter. It is that time of year, when nature shows off her fall colors, leaves turn bright red, orange, and gold, before they begin to fall to the ground. And lets not forget Halloween and the beginning of the holiday season!

During October we experience colder weather and some of us experience rainy days, so we have to bring out the sweaters, jackets, hats and scarves. This month we will be sharing with you some quick and easy scarf patterns. Scarves are one of those exceptional accessories as they are unique and can be done in many types of yarn and patterns!

Here we go a skein, fresh off the hook:

                                The Double Square Scarf

Note: It was hard to photograph the scarf in its entirety, due to the length of the scarf.

I found a beautiful yarn that for this scarf at Arcane Fibre works out of Canada. They have many beautiful hand dyed yarns to choose from and their yarn is very soft and easy to work with!
This Colorway is Called Fire and Ash.
I hope you enjoy this new scarf pattern!

Have a hooky day!
Lynne
