Crochet Trinket Bag

I can't believe it is almost the end of May, WOW, this month has gone by in a snap! I am going to visit my grandkids in a few weeks and was checking my travel kit and saw that there were some loose items that needed to be put in a small bag. Instead of using sandwich baggies, I decided to create a small bag that could store small personal items, such as hair accessories, nail clipper, mini tube of toothpaste, etc.. That is how the crochet trinket bag pattern came to life. Crochet trinket bags, are not just to hold travel items, they are great dice bags, make great party favors, work great as a mini gift bags and this small bag is big enough to hold a gift card!

Here we go a skein FOTH:

These crochet bags are a great stash busting project and are done in basic crochet stitches, making them a great project for crocheters of all skill levels.

The pattern is written without color changes which allows for many different color combinations and leaves the creativity up to you. The two bags above were done with the same pattern but the color changes were done in different rounds.

Color changes are not the only way to make your trinket bag unique but how many colors you use gives each bag a distinctive look.

I just love how these little bags turned out and I can't wait to use them!

Have a hooky day! Lynne
