Bandana Scarf

The last pattern for this month is a different type of scarf. It is a square scarf the size of a bandana. Bandanas are a great item to have in your wardrobe, since they are very versatile. They can be worn as a scarf draped in the front or worn a little off center, knotted in the front and draped in the back, or used as a head scarf

This soft and fuzzy bandana was done in Jody Long Airspun yarn making it lightweight, warm and soft. This is the first time I have used airspun yarn for a crochet pattern and it was easy to work with and works great for cool weather accessories!

Here we go a skein, fresh off the hook:

This scarf works up quickly and is great for beginners, since it has a repeating pattern and uses single crochet and chain stitches. Mixed with the airspun yarn it makes a beautiful design.

I hope you enjoy this pattern and for those who celebrate, Happy Halloween!

Have a hooky day! Lynne
